Privacy policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Radon Repair Inc. (“Radon Repair”, “we”, “us”) operates this website, radonrepair.ca, including all related information, content, features and tools (the “Services”). The website is hosted by Shopify. This policy explains how we collect, use and share your personal information when you visit our website, fill out a form, call us or meet with us. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

Personal information we collect

  • Contact details, such as your name, address, phone number and email address.
  • Information about your home and any radon results you choose to share with us.
  • Your communications with us, including forms, emails, calls and consultations.
  • Device and usage information, such as your browser, device, IP address, the pages you view and how you arrived on our website.

We don’t take payments on this website.

Where it comes from

  • Directly from you.
  • Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies on our website.
  • From service providers that process information for us.
  • From partners or people who refer you to us.

How we use it

  • To respond to you, book and deliver our services, and keep records of the work we do.
  • To run and improve our website and services.
  • To send you emails if you’ve agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To measure and improve our advertising.
  • To keep our systems secure, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

Website analytics, advertising and call tracking
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (for example, the pages viewed and how you arrived). We use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure whether our ads lead to inquiries. When you submit a form, we record that a form was sent and how you reached our site (such as the ad or link you clicked).

If you reach our website from a Google ad, you may see a Google forwarding phone number. Calls to that number ring through to our office line, 506-871-4102, and Google records call details such as the time, duration and caller’s area code so we can measure our ads.

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in our cookie banner. If you decline, analytics and advertising cookies are not set.

Recorded calls and consultations
Calls with our office and our consultations (in person, by phone or by video, including Google Meet) may be recorded and transcribed for training, quality and record-keeping purposes. We use recordings and their transcripts to keep accurate notes about your home and the work we discuss. They are stored securely with our service providers and are not used for marketing. If you’d prefer not to be recorded, tell us at the start and we won’t record.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that work for us, such as Shopify (website hosting), Google (analytics, advertising and business email), and our scheduling and job-management, email newsletter and form-processing software. They may only use it to provide their services to us.
  • Our Prince Edward Island partner, Cleya Ltd., if you live in PEI, so they can contact you about your request.
  • Others, when you ask us to or consent.
  • As part of a business transaction such as a merger, sale or reorganization, when required by law, or to protect our rights and the rights of others.

We do not sell your personal information.
